how to make battle damage on miniature models

That does NOT look like realistic battle damage, not on a tank or airplane at least.

No, but it does in any sci-fi you ever saw

The beginning steps where i drilled the holes with the smaller drill bit and then a bigger one to hollow them out can be worked into tanks and airplane damage. With some reference photos that one step can help start you off.
