love getting recommended tutorials for genres i've literally never heard of
@rhn47107 ай бұрын
i love it, especially because people keep coming up with names for stuff that's not entirely new. Many old koan sound stuff sounds like this, and dare I say foley abuse through granulizers on piano as if it were to fit in anime is not new. Just like it's not new to keep finding new labels and making up subgenres. Still, it's amazing

This was awesome! Unsolicited recommendation: Show the final result at the START and at the END of the video. I clicked this because I’d never heard of the genre and wanted to know what it sounded like. Skipped to the end so I had a better idea of how everything would sound in context and feel like it made your breakdown of selecting all the pads, etc. easier to follow and more enjoyable. Just my two cents. Still an excellent video!

this just popped up in my home feed - i had no freaking clue this was a genre, but when i heard it i immediately thought of every video game, esp indie, where you go through a meadow or something and it all made total sense. this is the "cleanest" sounding music I've ever heard. it reminds me of airbnb/amazon photos of modern minimalist kitchens and the sims XD

Wow, I'm in love with these ambient textures and atmospheric pads! 😍 They sound extremely beautiful and ethereal! They have a nostalgic and inspirational harmony to them that I absolutely love. So strange to hear a kind of music or composition style that's been around for 50 years or more, a mix of neo-classical, movie soundtrack music, new age meets folk, baroque pop, or even library music for TV documentaries, now rebranded as a new genre. Nevertheless, this is lovely.
