Hi Henry, I absolutely love your super recipes. Thanks so much, however in the sauce here, there is a certain tangy zing / kick that seems to be missing when I make it exactly as you suggest? Could it lemon juice that is missing? - I am not certain. Any advice appreciated. Many thanks, and Love from Scotland, X.

Hi Henry, I have made this recipe so many times, and it is to die for each time, thank you!! I actually make your Indian chicken tikka recipe first, and then after I have cooked the Indian tikka, I adoringly smother them in your Chicken Tikka Masala sauce which is so lovely, Mmm!! ... :-) If I accidentally add too much (hot) chilli to your sauce, how can I cool this down during cooking? Could I add more delightful double cream or else Greek yoghurt or something else to cool the sauce? Many thanks. Love from Scotland X!

Why the garlic paste is yellow? Isn't it garlic and turmeric paste?I am just wondering. Thank you for the great recipe.

Henry - we would normally add 2 chefs spoons coconut flour plus 1 chefs spoon ground almond (plus a drop of almond essence if reqd) to CTM, plus quite a bit of concentrated garden mint.

What's a chefs spoon?
@rickh16348 жыл бұрын
+Rocko M Hi, it's a large spoon UK Indian chefs use - if you have a look at some Julian Voigt vids, he uses one all the time. I think they are 2-3 tablespoons in size 👍👍👍
@Rocko25528 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the quick reply. I googled it and saw the big spoon but wasnt sure if that was correct. Thanks again.
@rickh16348 жыл бұрын
+Rocko M 👍👍👍 2 chefs spoons coconut enough for 3 portions rather than 1 but you can change it to how you like it. That's UK tho rather than Auz - must give this recipe a try without coconut/almond.

Don't laugh, y'all...I'm new to the lovely tastes of Indian food...what kind of rice did you use on the side, here? It is longer than any rice I've seen in the grocery store.

Half teaspoon NUTMEG? That's the most nutmeg I've ever heard put in any recipe.
@daandemeyer17084 жыл бұрын
When it's not freshly grated it isn't that strong. But it's still a lot ☺ It's also the first time I see someone using nutmeg in chicken tikka masala
