in this video, I'm sharing a delicious Finnish recipe for chocolate buns, Laskiaispulla, which is perfect for Laskiainen in February. This year, I've prepared a chocolate version of these delightful buns and will show you step by step how to make them yourself. Ingredients:
(12 chocolate buns)
- 550-600 g all-purpose flour
- 40 g cocoa powder
- 50 g sugar
- 25 g yeast
- 250 ml milk + 160 g yogurt (mix and heat to 35°C)
- 75 g butter
- 1/2 - 1 tsp cardamom
- Milk or egg for brushing
Filling:
- 400 g cream cheese
- 200 g whipping cream
- 75 g powdered sugar
- 40 g cocoa powder
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 1 packet cream stabilizer
- about 250 g hazelnut nougat cream (I used this one: amzn.to/3SQQvoG)
Bake the chocolate buns in a preheated oven at 175°C on the middle rack for 25-30 minutes.
