I normally actually reeeeeally dislike watching cooking videos most of the time because I have severe ARFID, but I am in love with this channel after just coming across it today, lol. I used to hate food, cooking, etc., and my baby and toddler motivated me to try to diversify our diet for their health so they wouldn't be like me with food... And lately we've been cooking everything together and trying new foods and whatnot, and my toddler now loves watching these and trying these out with me now, too. ❤️ He's sitting on my lap wiggling around saying, "IT'S GOING TO BE SO YUMMMMMY!!" in a very cute goofball kind of way, lol. Thank you so much for making these such easy and simple cooking videos, and they're already having a significant impact on me and my kids and will for the rest of our lives. I know this one is just cream cheese. 🤣 But I mean the whole channel, too, lmao.

Omg I've been searching for a tutorial to make cream cheese for forever ! And this one seems the simplest, especially since that's how I've been making paneer at home too lol. I love baking and make a lot of carrot cakes & red velvet cakes and sometimes even bagels but all minus the cream cheese. The most sought after brand, Philadelphia cream cheese, costs about ₹250 for 100 gms 😱 I'm glad I can *finally* make cream cheese at home. Thank you so much 🙏🏼 *UPDATE* OMG I just made this & I cannot stop smiling at how silky & voluptuous this Cream cheese turned out ,tastes divine 🤤😍 I doubled the recipe, divided into half. I made a savoury salted spread for bagels (that I'm going to make ASAP) and kept the remaining plain which I'll use to make cream cheese frosting for red velvet cake that I'm baking tomorrow ❤️ This is the first time I've tasted cream cheese & I can see why the West is obsessed with it 🙏🏼 Thank you bunches ☺️

This is not the authentic cream cheese. It's an alternate version. Every cheese is made by some process of curdling only. The curds (paneer) are common in all cheeses. Depends on what you use to curdle. Paneer is made with lemon, citric acid or vinegar. Cream cheese is made with lactic acid . Cream Cheese is expensive because it uses cream. Even in this process he used 2 packets of cream . So 2 cups of full fat milk = 500 ml milk = 35 Rs. 2 * 200 ml Amul 25% cream = 2 * 63 = 126 Rs. Makes 1 cup = 250 grams of cream cheese 1 vanilla pod = 100- 350 Rs. Time to make = half a day Readymade = Indian brands = Dlecta Cream Cheese 1kg = 669 Rs Brittania Cream Cheese 180g = 237 Rs. Philadelphia cream cheese = very expensive as it is imported Slice of Cheese Cake = 200-250 bucks.. I would say buy the actual cheese cake as it is worth it rather than making this ridiculous paneer mash-up

Happened with me too. It just wasn’t splitting. I’m not sure if his measurements are correct. Ughhh so frustrating

Omg! Same.....I was so pissed...I was like I could have just used my cream for making ice cream. Anyway during these covid times everyone is baking and fresh cream is not easily available 🤦🏽♀️

Same happened to me but I found that heating it up again and adding some more acid like lemon will make it split also remember to stir well.

This recipe is fantastic! It's better to make your own because you know what the ingredients are and you can make as much as you like. I've been making my own paneer and ghee for a while and this recipe is a welcome addition!

Cream cheese is basically panner (very popular and liked in India).Dudh (milk) aur (and) nimbu (lemon).Heat it and milk will burst and clumps of cottage cheese form.

This is awesome.. Can you please make a video on how to store the various ingredients in fridge, like whipped cream, cream cheese, baking soda and powder, etc?

I've been looking for an induction cooking plate just like the one you are using in the video. I was very excited when I found this and was happy to have found your video. Can you tell me more about it and where I can get one. I've never seen one that has temperature control. This video has almost a million views. Good for you! I'm very happy for you.
