I normally actually reeeeeally dislike watching cooking videos most of the time because I have severe ARFID, but I am in love with this channel after just coming across it today, lol. I used to hate food, cooking, etc., and my baby and toddler motivated me to try to diversify our diet for their health so they wouldn't be like me with food... And lately we've been cooking everything together and trying new foods and whatnot, and my toddler now loves watching these and trying these out with me now, too. ❤️ He's sitting on my lap wiggling around saying, "IT'S GOING TO BE SO YUMMMMMY!!" in a very cute goofball kind of way, lol. Thank you so much for making these such easy and simple cooking videos, and they're already having a significant impact on me and my kids and will for the rest of our lives. I know this one is just cream cheese. 🤣 But I mean the whole channel, too, lmao.

Check Gemma Stafford's Bigger Bolder Baking channel...... you'll all basic recipes for cooking like how to make mascarpone, cream cheese, sour cream, buttermilk, caramel, dulce de leche etc. etc........To me Gemma Stafford is God of baking and no one can match her skills.....she is so fast with her recipes and she'll tell you all other alternatives that you can use if a particular ingredient is not available in your country ( the best thing I love about her)...........Baking isn't about how pretty your cake looks but how tasty the recipe is.......you'll thank me later 😊👐....... Other channels I follow is Preppy Kitchen (very meticuluous but cumbersome and difficult recipes), Cupcake Jemma (Umm don't like her much).......but people love her, can check her out!

Omg I've been searching for a tutorial to make cream cheese for forever ! And this one seems the simplest, especially since that's how I've been making paneer at home too lol. I love baking and make a lot of carrot cakes & red velvet cakes and sometimes even bagels but all minus the cream cheese. The most sought after brand, Philadelphia cream cheese, costs about ₹250 for 100 gms 😱 I'm glad I can *finally* make cream cheese at home. Thank you so much 🙏🏼 *UPDATE* OMG I just made this & I cannot stop smiling at how silky & voluptuous this Cream cheese turned out ,tastes divine 🤤😍 I doubled the recipe, divided into half. I made a savoury salted spread for bagels (that I'm going to make ASAP) and kept the remaining plain which I'll use to make cream cheese frosting for red velvet cake that I'm baking tomorrow ❤️ This is the first time I've tasted cream cheese & I can see why the West is obsessed with it 🙏🏼 Thank you bunches ☺️

Now settling with in Laws in Nainital made me realise not everyone can procure stuff so easily and it is a constant running around and searching for homemade recipes.. This is not the authentic cream cheese. It's an alternate version. Every cheese is made by some process of curdling only. The curds (paneer) are common in all cheeses. Depends on what you use to curdle. Paneer is made with lemon, citric acid or vinegar. Cream cheese is made with lactic acid . Cream Cheese is expensive because it uses cream. Even in this process he used 2 packets of cream . So 2 cups of full fat milk = 500 ml milk = 35 Rs. 2 * 200 ml Amul 25% cream = 2 * 63 = 126 Rs. Makes 1 cup = 250 grams of cream cheese 1 vanilla pod = 100- 350 Rs. Time to make = half a day Readymade = Indian brands = Dlecta Cream Cheese 1kg = 669 Rs Brittania Cream Cheese 180g = 237 Rs. Philadelphia cream cheese = very expensive as it is imported Slice of Cheese Cake = 200-250 bucks.. I would say buy the actual cheese cake as it is worth it rather than making this ridiculous paneer mash-up

Wow! I had supreme doubts when trying this recipe although I love his videos I was a little shaken by people in the comments and also had my own apprehensions that cream cheese can't be made this easily at home..but man isn't it easy! I tried it for the first time and it's beautiful 😍😍😍😍 For those who have doubts similiar to mine please don't worry follow his recipe word to word and viola you have yourself home made cream cheese!

Thankyou sooooooo much Shivesh!! Going to purchase ingredients now to make this for making cheesecake. I’m not impressed with the store bought anymore, they seem to be diluted with other strange ingredients and not as nice as they used to be, probably to be cost effective! Will let you know how this turns out. Really excited to find you! Thankyou x

@2:04 "The cream cheese doesn't only curdle the milk but it also gives it a sour taste". I think you meant vinegar😁. But thanks a lot. Normally I would have to order from Amazon to get it. Now I can make my own. Can you post an eggless New York style cheesecake recipe?

This didn't work for me :/ the cream added something which prevented it from splitting, no matter how much vinegar I added! I had to repeat without using cream at all, and it turned out to be perfect! Don't know why this happened, I'm just sharing my experience

Cream cheese is basically panner (very popular and liked in India).Dudh (milk) aur (and) nimbu (lemon).Heat it and milk will burst and clumps of cottage cheese form.
