How to Make Custom Paintings That Are NOT Modded on the Gallery | THE SIMS 4 | No CC | TUTORIAL

Since Legacy Edition of the game was discontinued, unfortunately, this tutorial no longer works 😕 As far as I know, there isn't an alternative yet. I'll keep looking and asking! If you guys learn about a new way that we could make NO CC paintings, feel free to share it with the rest of us, please! ❤️

Does it still work other than it being no cc? Like will it be marked as cc but the rest of the tutorial works otherwise?

@@sunniiai It works for some creators may be who found out.. like you can see some people still uploading in 2024 and you can see they are doing it without getting marked/cc flagged..

You should still be able to do it and just put it in the regular mods folder. I will try that and see.

LOL the CAS, loved it. This is not the tutorial I was looking for, I just wanted my sims to paint any random picture in my PC, I guess there's no easy way like sims 3. Anyways I've been meaning to ask why do you need to go thru aaaall this just so your content don't come in the gallery as CC? So what if it shows up as mod content? Honestly, is there any malfunctioning in the game or any acchievement your sims won't receive because it is a mod/cc?

Hi, Tracy! Sorry for the late reply. In case you didn't fix it yet, I got a chance to check it yesterday if it was maybe something with updates, but, it still works for me! Something that crosses my mind is room position. This might be silly, but have you tried rotating the wall that has the paintings. Or could it be the wall hight is the problem or "move objects on" cheat was not turned on?

It's because the tray files are not uploaded online, but just to the legacy edition of the game so we need to move it to standard game edition.

Thank you for the video! But since last month, Origin stopped letting people download the Legacy version. I have just watched your video and have never had that version installed before it got removed. Do you have any suggestion how to create nocc art now? When my sim takes a photo of a painting done with your method, it is nocc, but when I pain on canvas - the gallery marks it as cc:(

@@simsina I have one more question: I see you used a square canvas in your tutorial, but I would like to create on the largest rectangular one. But the "package" I see on Studio has three textures, not one. And the last one is also square and very tiny:( Am I looking at the wrong package? It is called "Large Painting paintCanvasLrgGen"

This is such a good tutorial but when I create the recolor in sims 4 studio and put it in my game it comes up as a question mark, do you know why?

Thank you for the guide but it didn't work for me.. The sims 4 legacy edition doesn't allow live mode so you can't control the sims " atleast in my version" i have done alot of trouble shooting to fix it but to no avail.. the other thing is that scumbumbo mod doesn't work in my game.. it is installed correctly doesn't work so i am just sad

I feel you. So far, we're limited in canvas sizes in TS4, there is unfortunately only 3 different types :(

@@ThaPhoenix1 Hey, all I do is switch back to using orgin when I make the non cc art and switch back to the EA app when I'm done. I was having a problem not too long ago with my orgin and had to redownload it, gladly I never got rid of the orgin download application in my files 😁

@@rockangelsims Ah! I can't use Origin anymore. Every time I uninstall the EA App (which they forced me to start using a few weeks ago) and reinstall Origin, a sign flashes up telling me to install the EA App. >.

I'm just going to list some of the common things to look out for: 1. Are you running the legacy edition of the game while sims are painting? 2. Are sims painting on one lot whole paintings are on a different lot?

Sims 4 Studio shouldn't have a virus. I'm currently using it without any issues. Also, I do not own Sims 4 Studio so if you encounter any issues like that I'd suggest reporting it to them (Sims 4 Studio).
