As someone that actually listens to a lot of this kind of stuff, I can recommend some stuff. First of all, understand most cybergrind takes more from speedcore than from hardstyle/hardcore. His song he ended up with also lacked a lot of the electronic sound. But one of the bands he referenced, The Berzerker, is actually one of my favorite bands. So definitely check them out. More recently I found some Japanese stuff. Check out Coakira and Ozigiri, though Coakira is more speedcore, not really cybergrind. If you like ATR, check out The Shizit. I've always preferred them to ATR for that kind of music. And for good measure, even though it's dead opposite of what you were looking for, check out Mulk for one of the weirdest examples of cybergrind.

Modern cybergrind has evolved a lot actually, I’d genuinely recommend ZOMBIESHARK, DEATHTRIPPA, Thotcrime, Fromjoy, I Set My Friends on Fire, etc. Really good bands and artists that are seriously killing it and turning Cybergrind into art. Also, most of those bands you mentioned are actually more so drum machine grindcore, and The Berzerker is literally *just* industrial death metal. I know I sound like a huge nerd tho lol, also these bands actually aren’t homophobic or transphobic for once, most modern cybergrind bands are actually very queer, which is really cool

Those are some very high quality lyrics and the song is an absolute masterpiece of unforeseen proportions within the genre. The riffs are undeniably perfect and the overall sound of the track is glorious and monumental. It does not sound at all like anything that has ever been made before, yet codifies cybergrind in what may be an ushering of the genre to new heights. The subtlety of the imagery conveyed in its lyrics requires conscious effort on the listener's part to truly comprehend the message; a message concerning the desire for galactic peace. Consequently, in the year 2843, archaeomusicologists will unearth this video from a time capsule and the song will be made the national anthem of the United Cyber-Republic of Earth because the technocratic POOP (Politically Oblique Omniscient Party) that rules the world wants to re-establish economic relations with Kepler-452b, which came to a halt after the Great Fallout of 2677 when a century-long interplanetary war ended in a ceasefire and total loss of contact between humanity and the Greys of Kepler-452b. With "Scrotal Torment Digital Age" as the anthem of Earth, interplanetary relations will improve greatly. The Greys will want to trade with humans once again and intermarriages will begin again. Just like in ancient Egypt and various other ancient civilisations, only this time the Greys will bless all of mankind with hyperdolicocephaly. With our new elongated heads, we will gain new insight into the genre of cybergrind and all cybergrind made in the 21st century that was never appreciated enough in its time will be heralded as classics in the 29th century. Instead of teaching children Mozart or Beethoven, the 29th-century music schools will focus on the most obscure of cybergrind bands and artists. Also, catgirls will be real. While this may sound like the utopia of a virgin who still lives with his mum, and the author of this comment does fit that description, let it be known that it is with an intent of satire derived from earnest left-wing idealism that I write these words. POOP does not have to be the enemy if humanity can overcome its selfish and tribalistic nature. If we can come together, be it through cybergrind or appreciation of anime aesthetics (even by those of us that do not watch anime), or through other means, then we can overcome our flaws and see that we are all equals on this Earth. We can liberalise the minds of those that do not believe in liberalism by exposing them to cybergrind. If they can produce the highest-quality cybergrind, and cybergrind is socialised, then they will embrace some form of socialism; this does not have to (and would preferably not) be full-blown communism as that focuses on the self-exploitation of workers by consigning them to manual labour (which is a form of slavery), but rather positive anthropic egalitarianism. Let us all embrace world peace and unite as the human race while we still can! The Greys are not the enemy, either, as they only probe us for science. If a global association for voluntary alien abduction was established, the Greys would not have to resort to nonconsensual abductions. This would leave many people free from anal trauma and reduce the Global Mean Butthurt (GMB) by massive loads. Aliens do not want to hurt us. They are merely anthropologists, and if anything, they want to help us advance technologically and prepare us for a future where cybergrind is no longer enough. When mere cybergrind ceases to be enough for the cybergrind connoisseurs, they will turn to a new genre that has not yet been born but will combine not only cybergrind, synthcore and deathstep but also post-rock, Indian classical music and Tuvan throat singing. Petition to make "Scrotal Torment Digital Age" the anthem for the Earth already in the 21st century, possibly preventing the Terran-Keplerian war?

Cybergrind is a weird one in that while there were different bands doing it or something like it in a bunch of different places back as far as the early '90s and they weren't unaware of one another, it really only becomes a scene or a genre unto itself rather than a weird minor trend in the death metal, grindcore and powerviolence scenes of the time when it hits the Internet in the mid '00s, with Genghis Tron really being the flagship band of that new wave. Unfortunately, where Genghis Tron and their predecessors by and large fucking slapped, a lot of later cybergrind, especially the more goregrind-inflected stuff is… well, it's rarely *boring,* but man, is it a mixed bag.

As a real freak who loves (trve™️) techno (as in the actual genre) and (actual¿) metal (especially weird and experimental shit that I guess some OG metalheads hate) , I’m not sure if I’m more troubled by this sub-genre and how much I don’t like it, or by the electronic aspects of it being referred to as “techno”... I know, techno is often just used colloquially as a catch all for “electronic dance music”, but um, it is an actual genre of music, with various sub-genres, much like metal, jazz, etc... If you think massive EDM artists playing at mass produced, corporate sponsored “raves”, or something similar, when you think “techno”, well, that’s not it. That’s a different (awful imo) thing. It’s interesting, with techno and metal, I’ve had friends say, “I can’t stand any X”, X being one of the two, and that basically always came down simply to not understanding the genre, or that techno is actually a genre, and not actually EDM. With techno and metal, I’ve been pretty successful in making converts, bc of the wide variety of sub-genres, and how broad they are, probably more than most other genres people commonly have an aversion to.. So, um, idk quite what my point is.. I told you I was a real freak, idk why I’m writing this for sure... Freaky, yeah?!?! I guess, since mostly metal heads likely watch this channel (which I’m new to, and I already freaking love it!), I’d say if you “don’t like techno”, but think of techno as what you hear in cybergrind, or just as a synonym of EDM, I’d say what you likely say to friends of yours who don’t like metal, and that’s that there’s a whole world of sub-genres to explore, and you may be surprised to find you do like a certain style of techno. Also, uh, continuing with the theme here, if you’re a fan of cybergrind, or know of any metal artists that actually incorporates trve tvchno in an interesting way, even if not necessarily a cybergrind band that does, feel free to share that with me, bc I’m open to being proved wrong, and admitting that I like this, or at least a band or two that play this style.. Cheers! ♾✌️
