Just to address the Frost Giant in the room: this clearly isn't the next SKT instalment like I'd promised. I haven't felt up for joking around in front of a camera recently and haven't yet filmed the next SKT video, so instead I'm relying on this pre-recorded video from Patreon. In Victoria, we've been in lockdown the last few weeks, and it's unclear when it will end, and it's been pretty taxing on a personal level. I'm really grateful to have support from Patrons so I can make this extra content and keep it in reserve for emergencies like this, and I'm grateful to subscribers for your continued understanding and patience with this SKT rollout. -------------- ❤ Support the Channel ❤ -------------- 💚 Patreon: matthewperkins.net/patreon 💚 Donate: matthewperkins.net/donate 💚 Store: matthewperkins.net/store 💚 DM Guild: matthewperkins.net/dmsguild 💜 Twitch: matthewperkins.net/twitch 💜 TikTok: matthewperkins.net/tiktok 🧡 Discord: matthewperkins.net/discord 🧡 Facebook: matthewperkins.net/facebook 🧡 Twitter: matthewperkins.net/twitter 🧡 Instagram: matthewperkins.net/instagram 🧡 Reddit: matthewperkins.net/reddit ✏ Blog: matthewperkins.net/blog 📧 For marketing/business/sponsorship inquiries, email: mperkins.dm@gmail.com

Matt you smashed it with the edits here. That 'sly flourish' at 3:23 killed me

Thanks! I outsourced the editing of this one to Luna: kzbin.info/door/hWJgykftbQFM3s8ZdHVT6A

Just wanted to say I absolutely love your content. Your take on LMoP is literally the best on KZbin. I know saying "you're so underrated" doesn't help with the views, but man, you really deserve more of them.

Matthew you are wonderful I’ve been an on and off DM for the last 15 years and your videos give me a brand new perspective to the game

This is stellar advice. It reminds me a lot of Colville's Action Oriented Monsters which I swear by. I value the practicality and flavor of more straightforward statblocks than those in the published books. Excellent video all around!

Hey thank you! I haven't seen any Colville video for years, so I hope I haven't robbed him too hard :) Parallel thinking!

@@heyitsMattyP Oh no robbing at all. They are distinct, just similar. I think every DM probably develops their own way to run monsters more effective once they get into the swing of it. It was meant as praise and nothing else.

Another great video. I'm binging your channel right now. Absolutely using the "you can't talk the next round, no, you the player, can't talk" in my Epic Boss Battle. Cudos for having the reaction be silence. Keep up the amazing work.

Hey thank you! I had to rewatch the video to remember the gag, and it caught me of guard too haha. I think this one was actually edited by my friend Luna from the Luboffin YT channel, so credit to her for all the on-screen goofs and gaffs :)

@@heyitsMattyP well, make sure to keep her employed. In fact, if I start a KZbin channel, I'll reach out to her to get her to edit my work. Thanks again.

Absolutely splendid, I watched this just after my game day and it has me grinning how well I've already been doing exactly this sort of thing Straight up, if you see a creature for only a minute, what ARE you going to see of it? That's what we're lookin' at !

Great stuff! Fast-paced, well-expressed Great ideas, even for a old grognard like me Hope we get a video on your feelings re: metagaming, someday

Thank you! This one came out really well :) I hope we get the metagaming video soon too! If the patrons don't vote it to the top, I might just make it anyway haha

Sly Flourish 😂. I never played 4e, but a monk in my game will now have the Sly Flourish ability for sure.

It's probably my best gag haha - now I just got to make sure he sees it
