I made this recipe with frozen cod and i cooked for 25 mins and checked the cooked temperature 145f. It was perfect. So so delicious served with steamed peas and carrots and corn on the cob. PS: Last weekend I made her chocolate cake and that was loved too.

The first time I made this, I liked the flavor but didn’t like what ended up being a gloopy topping on the fish. So the next 2 times I skipped the flour and it made a WORLD if difference, so much better without flour.

I was just debating doing the same thing! Doesn’t seem like such a quick cooking time would bake the raw flour flavor out and it might be clumpy. So glad I saw your comment. Headed to the kitchen right now!

We had this today for a light Sunday lunch. Flavourful dish, but we recommend seasoning the fish with salt and pepper and then adding only half of the required amount of salt to the crust. It was really intense, while the fish stayed relatively bland. Saved for next time!

I was too lazy and cheap to go out to get all the ingredients, so I made some modifications: sutchi fillets instead of cod, dried oregano in place of dried basil and orange juice instead of lemon juice. Omitted the dijon mustard. Still turned out pretty decent.

Another luscious recipe! Thank you :-) I've never commented before but I have been watching you for years ... I've made many of your recipes and this is another that is going on my list tonight! Do you think not adding the flour would make a significant difference? I know the sauce would be thinner without it but I can't imagine it would impact the taste ... curious as to what you think ... I'm going to try it without the flour anyway ... it simply can't be bad! Thanks again for all of your creativity and genuineness

1) Would also check after 10 min even if fish thick. 2) 200 deg Celsius 3) Used bread crumbs, olive oil and much less butter 4) Came out a little dry 5) Too many bread crumbs? Not enough butter and oil? Should have added some white wine? 6) My guests seemed to love it anyway.
