I was in New Zealand.. and I used Anchor or Meadow Fresh cream bottle with red cap.. In the USA it is called heavy cream; don't know the brand name but it goes by the name heavy cream

Hi neelam.. we only get dairy whipping cream here.. I would suggest you to use non dairy cream of Rich or Tropolite brand which are easily available there :)

Hi Susan.. For decorations undoubetly buttercream .. But taste wise whipped cream is better as it is not as sweet as buttercream. But the non-dairy whipping cream that we get in India is close enough to buttercream when it comes to frosting and decorating :)

Temperature remains the same.. for cupcakes it is 16 mins.. 8 inch cake check after 45 mins and keep checking every 5 mins..

HI Narinder.. the only type of cream easily available to me here in NZ is dairy whipping cream so that is what I use in all my recipes :)

A good recipe and a great effort - I have really started to like your videos .. the only thing that I have a doubt is - Doesnt the Curd and milk used in base sponge make the cake sometimes less airy than the cakes with egg.. Also can we use substitutes such as Cake Gel / Improver to make the sponge.

There is no comparison between an eggless cakes and one made with eggs.. Obviously the egg based ones are much more softer and lighter it is totally a personal preference.. I find these cakes to be equally soft and light and also tastes good. So totally upto you and for the cake gel I have answered that in the other comment :) thank you

Hi Pretty.. the two types of cream that I am aware of being used in India is Rich and Tropolite.. I am not sure whether Amul will work or not.. you need whipping cream to make the frosting :)

Hi Khushboo.. I use dairy whipping cream and hence it is easier to whip using hands but I understand that non dairy whipping cream is little difficult to whip using hands
