I hate waste too!! I feel for you guys. Really.. the knot is key. You have to do it carefully, but tightly. Sometimes, I tie an extra knot onces it is off the fork too

@@redtedart I want the pom poms for woolen Jacobean style poncho, my husband treated me to a couple of ponchos yesterday, both Jacobean, style but with slightly different designs,, so I need to contrast highlight without taking away from the design,, was lucky to get them for 10 euro each,, after shopping around looking for ponchos,, as some can be very expensive, 70 euros upward ,or more!!,, they are drape on, go over shoulder and hang down,, really beautiful, so this pom pom idea, would work for me, as I won't wear coats,,!!!
