Hey Mate! As always, you are so flattering and needless to say, I am so grateful for you ongoing support!!! 😊 I love the chord progression also. You know my thoughts on the sound those type of chords create. Yes!! He was pretty happy! He was continually asking Penny (my Wife and his Sister) . . . 'why doesn't John do a PK song'?? 🤷🏻‍♂️ BTW I wonder after hearing this song you would appreciate how the neighbours felt!! Because I consider the 'full voice' thing (with this song), I rehearsed the song out in a park (wide open space) for a few days before recording. You know, now that I think about it....it was probably a bad choice of words by me because it's more a description of the lyrics than a performance. So it really is talking about the WRITING not being overly sentimental....which means, having too many sappy, cliche phrases that simply spew out your "feelings," because anyone can do that. But good lyrics and poetry dance around these things and make a reader or listener feel it themselves instead. I hope that makes sense, John. My mistake! I still liked your performance AND the song, even though you didn't write it. :)
