Hi Nadi, I just made Bara again with your recipe and enjoying it with the grated mango (gave my masala brick away yrs ago) the fine side of the grater works well!! I didn’t make last time I said I would but just did 😋😋 oops!! 😆🤣 I forgot the Gera (cumin) I just heard you say what u r putting into the mixture lol oh well, I don’t even miss it! Thanks again for a great recipe 👍🏽👍🏽 the taste lingers in one’s mouth 😋 Oh!! I did add a 1/4 teaspoon more of yeast and baking powder this time and it doubled nicely in an hour.

Hi Kalowtie, you can absolutely make it without yeast. The yeast usually gets it softer and a bit fluffier.. Thank you.. Happy Holidays!🎄🎄❤️

Tried it on 5/30/22 it was delish, great recipe 👍🏽👍🏽 it was done in a flash 😆 I wanted something different so Instead of pound mango 🥭 I grated it on the fine side of the grater and oh boy, it brought back childhood memories and it hit the spot 😋
