The platform vibration is a problem as energy to rebound the bag is lost. Also you made the platform too high. The bag should be approximately the same level as your face.

Haha good creativity brother. Nice cheap easy way to make a speedball and least get started and give it a try, see if you like it and whatnot. I'd definitely recommend people investing in a proper setup though if you want to keep going and train it regular, get good technique and get most benefit from your practice. Indeed i think get the best bag and best frame setup you can reasonably afford early on, than should last you ages and training should go smooth. When start getting more advanced youll really need everything to perform properly..... better rebound and no play in the frame, better balanced ball, proper swivel setup etc....else could end up trying to compensate for it with technique and developing bad habits that'd be hard to break later and other issues... or could just get discouraged and not want to keep at it. Though someone whos good at design and diy type stuff like you could probably already have a new professional grade setup all designed and built all by yourself by that time anyway haha... maybe even a new and improved version that we'll all be buying off you and using? 😁 Thanks for sharing
