Hi Jasmin, if they are store properly in a cool, dry place away from heat or direct sunlight they should be good for couple of weeks without getting rancid. I only make enough for immediate use. Hope that helps.

But the cheapest shea butter i found in amazon is this. Hi, you can but personally I never add preservatives on my diy soaps and they can stay for months and not getting molds. Hope that helps.

I used melt and pour and using the microwave is faster in 30 second increments but you can also use a double boiler on the stove.
