I ove Focaccia and this receipe and your presenttion made me feel I could successfully make this. We had an Italian neighbor, first generation from Italy, made this. She pressed pieces of Italian cheese, dried tomates, anchoives, and l think this dried basil and/or other green herbs n it. I'm going to try to use this receipe and incorporate her additions. She made us a large sheet of this wonderful focaccia every Saturday for our family. Your dough looks like what she made. Thanks so much, loved your presentation.

Made this focaccia and it really is incredible and so easy and quick to make. Can you add instructions for turning this into a pizza? Does the dough need to rise for longer or cook before you add the sauce and cheese? Thank you!

Hi Melissa! What a pleasure to hear this! I'm so glad. Great question! You can use the same dough to make pizza just add sauce and bake it. About 5 minutes before the end of the cooking time add the cheese and allow it to melt. Thank you for trying my recipe. Enjoy!

Love it! Can I also use wax paper? Or will this only work well with parchment paper?

Hi Emily! I'm so happy to hear that you like this recipe. Wax paper is usually not safe to put in the oven, that is why I advice to use parchment paper. If you don't have it, you can put some extra olive oil at the bottom of the pan so that the dough doesn't stick to it. Enjoy 😊✨

@@GiuliaArdizzone I guess my observation was even in your written ingredient list you didn't mention the temperature . Mind you, I made this and it was wonderful. I did add calamata olives. As a novice bread maker I am watching videos and trying recipes. Some give more detail then others.
