I'm a rice boy, so when I was given 6 cans of Jack mackerel -- I had to find a way to prepare and followed your technique and ate right along with you except I substituted with the biscuits you recommend in your other video. We eat Jack mackerel for breakfast also. Not as patties though, once I smash up the meat a little, I stir it up with onions, season with salt and pepper, serve with boiled potatoes fork mashed on your plate and cornbread. Now that's a country breakfast I grew up on. Love it.

I just finished making these your way and it was a hit. My grandson said he really like them. He made some the last time and I thought he did a great job being his first time making them but he like mines better. This young generation do not know what cooking is but why he has been with me I told him he need to learn how to cook for himself and not wait on a women to do it for him. Hello Gina your jack mackerel patty's look good. My mother used to make them also salmon patty's. You can even make tuna fish patties they're good. My mama always made them up. And we would pour syrup over and eat them. Might sound gross to some people but it's good. you and family have a good evening.
