I love me a good patty! I recently went to a little mom and pop shop in Palm Coast Florida and the lady was so sweet and had Petit’s for sale of course….. they were good, but the meat mixture was so soupy that you could not eat it as a handheld item, unless you wanted to wear it all :) Carribean treats is the name of the place in the event they are in the area , and I met another super cool woman who was very much my elder. we had a nice little conversation about life and the movie “ONE LOVE”. It was so cool and she told me that she grew up in Trenchtown around Bob and all of those people! She told me” girl, Music was not my thing, because if it was, I would not be standing here right now talking to you”😂😂😂 Bless up all y’all 1❤️

I watched a few Jamaican Beef Patty videos before deciding yours was the one I wanted to try. I won’t lie, my arms got a workout rolling out the dough repeatedly to layer in the butter, but I know it will be worth the extra effort. Maybe next time I’ll use my pasta roller. 😉 I did modify the filling just a bit. I didn’t have Jerk seasoning but I did have Chorizo, so I subbed that in. Tasted like Jamaican Beef Patty filling to both me and hubby. They’re baking in the oven now. Can hardly wait til they’re done. Slicing one open to receive a slice of cheese was clever. Thanks for making the video!
