I had Kiev cake (Kiev Torte) at a local eastern European restaurant and it blew my mind. I've never come home and worked so hard to find a recipe just so I could have it again. It really is something special.

Hi, Sonya ! I have been binge watching your videos and you are wonder woman! My mom was well rounded like you. She passed away five years ago and I miss her but I know she will always remain in my heart. Also, have you ever considered making a recipe book ? They all are so heart healthy and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Hope you're having a wonderful day 😁

I'm planning on making this cake for my father's birthday and it looks amazing! Each stick of butter is 100 grams? And each whipping cream container is 250 ml? Thank you for your answer:)
@MarySmith-gu5nb3 жыл бұрын
Here is a hint Sonya. If you keep a tall glass of hot water at the side, you can dip the spreading knie into the hot water and use that to spread your buttercream. It produces a smooth glassy looking surface

Hello Sonya, Do you know what the purpose of the flour in the nuts is for? If I wanted to make a gluten free version, could I use corn starch? Or gluten free flour?
@madhattersoriginal62583 жыл бұрын
Yes you can use Gluten free. It's used as a binder to stabilize and solidify. Use a GF blend that is 1:1 replacement for regular flour. Namaste is my brand of choice, not sure in what country you live. Enjoy ✅ Hugs Kate in New York.
