A quick way to make a single serving of fluffy eggs -- whisk one egg in a cereal bowl and add a tablespoon of water and pinch of salt. Then you can microwave carefully (I do 30 second increments) until cooked and fluffy.

I wonder If you could also use a cooled herbal infusion or add soy sauce/fish sauce or even chili sauce into the egg water. Looks really good. If you like fried egg sandwiches I highly recommend a bagel and a slightly firmer cooked egg. ❤️

Those baked eggs are fascinating! I wonder how they would do if you put some cooked sausage crumbles and/or asparagus, etc. into them before baking? I'm always on the lookout for convenient, tasty, re-heatable breakfasts. You could even cut them into finger shapes and wrap in a tortilla.
@pharynx007 Жыл бұрын

@user-bv7mk8id5t Жыл бұрын
I think she’s trying to do a simple take on rolled eggs. Usually cheese is added and maybe carrots and cabbage, but not anything else if I’m not mistake. You add the extras like kimchi to the sandwich but not to the eggs itself. Watch someone from South Korea make egg sandwich (street food), I believe that’s what she’s trying to do, but a simplified plain version. Best
@colinmattson589 Жыл бұрын
The eggs don’t have enough structure to hold up to too many additions. If you don’t mind it being more of a scramble than a patty when you turn it out, though, go wild!

*Please* DO NOT PURCHASE the Ember mug. Yes, it's easy to use. Yes, it's easy to clean. Yes, the initial setup is simple. However, the mug consistently unpairs from your phone -- I tested with 2 Androids and 1 iPhone -- and the only way to re-pair the mug is a button at the bottom ... which is difficult when you have a full mug of near boiling water. Absolutely horrible spend of $150.

Egg sandwich for the win! The gooseneck kettle is just stupid...just get a regular glass electric kettle. The overpriced, over engineered cyber mug is also gimmicky...a modern thermos like a hydroflask with a cup is a much better option. Would be nice to see a healthy alternative to bacon fat for breakfast...the Spanish eggs recipe is more for a special Sunday brunch or holiday.
@axeavier Жыл бұрын
the mug is just luxury since there is no waiting involved unlike a thermos
@lattetown Жыл бұрын
Not sure what you mean by no waiting...it sounds like it takes a while to charge and only lasts 90 minutes, while the thermos works anytime, and lasts for 10 hours.
