Do you remember how many yards of fabric and what fabric weight you used for each piece?

All that information is in the instructions of the pattern. There are A LOT of pieces. I can't remember one by one from the top of my head

Hi there! I'm making a cosplay very untelated to kimono, but I thought I'd ask anyway! I am looking for an alternative for a bra since some of my shoulders and clavicles will be visible with my top, so I wanted something that fit the aesthetic of the cosplay more and decided on a chest wrap! My research wasn't really successful until I found this. I wondered if the fabric you wrap your chest in is just plain cotton and did you do any kind of sewing to it or is it just an unfinished fabric strap? Thank you so much in advance! ❤

Hi, for comfort I would recommend a binder as those used to hide your chest. Remember that you need to be very careful as tight garments are not good for you, if you are uncomfortable take it off immediately! I used strips of gauze for this, but wore mine super loose. You can look for sarashi techniques as there is a right way to tie it so it doesn't fall off. Fabric with a little bit of stretch or medical gauze (not sticky) will work best. I hope it helps

Hi! I’m doing the hadagi rn, but I do not understand why I do not have the hole between the bodice and the sleeve, at least not as big as yours, for size 10UK. I also do not understand why in the pattern, size 10UK notch is the 4th one, while the cut marking is the 3rd one. Thank you for your help!

Hi, I just looked at the pattern and I think I put the notches the wrong way around, that would explain why your opening is smaller and why the notch is not in the right position. I think the patterns of the lines are correct but the actual naming I put upside down. Apologies for the mistake.

That's because this is a very complex costume using Japanese techniques. The pattern comes with detailed instructions step by step 😊

I made lots of ‘kimonos’ WITHOUT any patterns and hey are beautifully unique blended with Morden colours and a bit of adaptive stuff making easier for practical purposes, kimono is easiest clothing that anyone can make without needing any patten truly 😉 🙏🤍🕊✨🧘🏻
