Hi Bailey I have a question on the flutter's, did you trim off 1/2" before doing the rolled hem or just trim that amount off while sewing the rolled hem? Just curious if you did or just left the flutter's longer? I'm making my granddaughter's this outfit now and wanted to ask before I continued this is one of the first things you do on the pattern is hem or rolled hem on the flutter's. Thanks for your help. You measure the opening of your bodice to determine the length of elastic. 😉

You can but some things like the top stitching would need a straight stitch.

Oh I did it the same way and thought it was impossible to sew over ruffles, let alone double ruffles.... but I struggled through and they shifted and were uneven, next one I had the epiphany to press them 🙌🏻😂 #gamechanger
