How to make LoFi drums in Ableton

In this video, I will be showing you how to make LoFi drums in Ableton. I'm going to start with some percussion loops. Then I will layer the main drum elements and some sound effects. To make these drums feel more lofi, I am going to use a custom audio effect rack named LoFi Anything that I designed specifically for lofi beat making.

Great video about dropping samples into Ableton but you should of mentioned how to mix the samples together ie levels, you may get someone new following along and wondering why there kick or sample doesn’t fit or is over powering anther sound etc , people must be more transparent when making videos on how to do whatever? Fundamentals for your viewers must be key. Thanks anyway!

I’m sorry to hear that you Didn’t find what you’re looking for in this video. Unfortunately this isn’t a mixing tutorial, it is a drum arrangement tutorial. If you’re looking for mixing tutorials, I have a 4 step mix master for beginners to start learning levels coming soon. As well as other mixing tutorials that will be made in the future. However, I will try and incorporate more basic info into these videos. Thank you For the insight!
