I’ve made this specific chicken cacciatore recipe a few times now and it is so good. I also add a splash of white wine to the sauce and a teaspoon of butter and it makes the sauce so rich and velvety. Bomb recipe!

anonymous al dente means the tooth in italian, meaning theres still some bite to it.

Basically in Italian "Al dente" means cooked some minutes less of how it should be cooked properly (when you bite the pasta you can feel the exterior soft and the core a little bit hard). It's a way of doing pasta (it's done mainly with spaghetti but you can do it with everything) where you don't cook it properly because it must be put in some sauce that must be cooked or let sit in the pan for some seconds/minutes. For example, carbonara is TRADITIONALLY Al dente cuz you need to put the hot spaghetti in the egg-guanciale-pecorino sauce with the fire off (for letting the egg cook properly by the pasta warm) so letting the pasta a little bit hard is perfect. Otherwise a perfect cook pasta will become chewy and overcooked.
