Great recipe! I made it twice and love it. Very easy and tastes delicious. Mochi donuts at the bakery are very expensive but now I can have them at home for cheaper. Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe!

i made these and they taste so good!! the texture is really nice too. they’re better than the ones i bought from a bakery :D i gave some to my friends and they said it was really yummy

Easiest recipe I’ve found and the texture of these donuts are amazing! Only thing is, after kneading for 5 min, my dough was extremely sticky, going to try and kneed for less time next time.

I'm so glad you liked them! Next time you can try adding more rice flour if you find the texture too hard to work with :)

Also my dough was very sticky and difficult to work with at first so I just added more flour and it was good. Very forgiving recipe. Just add enough flour so you can work with the dough better if you are having trouble with sticky dough.

After frying, will the donut turn try and hard after a few hours left in normal room temperature?

Hello. Thank you for the recipe. I haven’t tried it yet but i soon will. Before i do though, what would happen if i just use normal rice flour instead of glutinous rice powder? Will the texture change greatly?

Unfortunately, rice flour won't work too well. The texture comes from the glutinous rice flour! Thanks for watching :)

Sticky rice flour or rice flour? Here in Malaysia we have 2 types of rice flour.

Hello, I have a question about the first step. I used 1/4 cup of sweet rice flour (glutinous rice flour) and 3 table spoon (45ml) and when I mix it, it becomes a hard dough instead of liquidy flour. am I doing something wrong?

Just tried this and just like many people said, texture taste was soooo great! However, some of mine started to appear like they were “standing up” during the frying process. Any idea what may have caused that?

I'm glad you love the taste! Although I'm not completely sure, the "standing up" might be because of the temperature of your oil! It might've been a little too hot. Thank you for watching :)

Yes of course! Make sure you keep the dough covered with plastic wrap so it doesn’t dry out! Happy baking

unfortunately, this cannot be made with regular wheat flour. the rice flour is what gives the donuts its chew and stretch!

Is it baking soda or baking powder? In the recipe it's baking powder, but in the subtitles it's baking soda. Which one?

So people do not use silken tofu as,it will not work!! Use this method instead!!
