BIG TIP: If you go to villages and buy their specialty goods they make (hover over the village and it should provide what their primary product is). The reason to buy from villages is that their prices are static, which means that you could buy all of that item for the same price. City's prices are dynamic, which will change the price the more you buy. More profit for you if you buy from static prices :) I always buy basic items from villages, but have to buy luxury products (pottery, linen, velvet, jewelry) from cities as villages don't provide these items. Also you could trade horses which is a bit more tedious as you tend to make the most from buying them from one side of the map and selling them on the other. This coming from someone with 125 Trading skill. Happy trading

The way I made gold when I started was with charcoal. There is a smithing perk that makes charcoal production more efficient... so... If you buy 90 wood on the low... somewhere between 8-12g... you create 60 charcoal (which also levels your smithing) and sell those for anywhere between 50-80g depending on how far you want to travel. I made a trip (an adventure if you will) from the northern wood production area to the desert (starting with 3kg before purchasing the wood) and ended the trip at around 18kg from selling to the southern folk...

Should point out that this method isnt as efficient as ESO makes it seem. As you sell more, the price goes down, quite significantly actually. So, the more quantity you sell at the saem location, the less profit you'll make. What i've ended up doing is charting cities which produce fish and butter in the north snowy area, and charted cities nearby only, which regularily buy those products. It's important to find these places to ensure a repeatable trade route. You will want to wait for some time between trade runs for the stock to replenish (the price for sale goes down as stock goes up) from the nearby villages. Chase down bandits during this time for some fun and skill ups.
@jinhong914 жыл бұрын
Prices don't change in villages. So if a village has something at dirt cheap prices, you can buy the entire lot of them at that price. Within Cities, the price will go up as you buy more.

@Beach-bn2nj4 жыл бұрын
My main problem is, while it does work, you need at least 1k to buy enough to make a good profit off of this. And guess what, I don't have that much, I spent it all on a bigger army so I could fight more. And if you have an army of 41 it costs 200 to 300 gold each day for their wages, which means that by the time you sell off the fish and go back to the town you bought it from, all the money you made is gone to your soldiers.
@jamesmichalek24514 жыл бұрын
Heres a slight improved method. Scroll down the items for sale at the market and if they are in the green colour they are being sold below average value, try go for 50% below. If you buy too much sometimes the price might increase, eg 100 fish at $6each but once youve bought 90 the last 10 may sell at $10 in that case its still a good buy. In the next city, check your inventory list and if the item is in the red colour the market will buy it above average price. Beware selling all your stock in one big sale because once you sell a certain amount of may start selling some at a discount. eg.. 100 fish at $20 but once youve sold 50 the rest may only be bought for $10. So just go city to city follow that method and youll make a killing. You dont have to worry about making a list and memorizing prices although you will pick up on it naturally
@Nebelkorona4 жыл бұрын
When you hover over bulk items they have prices in color. Buy green, sell red or white. Also as you sell, the price goes down, so it's better to have few different goods than a ton of single one. Also villages sell way below lowest prices in towns, so a village with iron will sell it for ~23 while a town low is ~30.
@Llyd_ApDicta4 жыл бұрын
Two things I noticed and are imho worth mentioning: 1.) There is a bid-ask spread, i.e. the difference between the price you pay when purchasing something from the trader and the price the trader pays you when he buys it from you. You can see the difference by looking at the price on the right (your inventory) so you will never get the price quoted on the left when you sell stuff. 2.) When you sell your entire stock of goods to the same trader, the price will drop with every item sold (after a certain threshold). Hence, when you sell 50 items of whatever @10 Ducats you will not end up with 500 Ducats but more like 350 or something because the quoted price on the right only is good for the first item sold.

I'm wondering how this type of bulk selling of huge quantities would affect when selling or buying from a faction that is at war. As in could doing huge business at specific faction like this cause them to snowball their economy and ending up making them win the faction wars? Edit: Just started thinking that if your trade pattern really influences how factions or specific cities survive wars then you could actually become a hidden trader overlord who destroys countries by simply trading in bulk with the enemies of the people they want to get rid off.

Hey @ESO pin this because this will be informative: > The Prices in your game will be different to ESO’s save, the game generates different variables in terms of Heroes and their activities which impact the game world and the market. His list will not be the same for you, you have to build your own. > Trading Rumors, Color Coding for Pricing, and all other features you feel you’re missing are a result of the trade skill, you gain these features as you level it and take perks. > Speed is everything, replace your units with Calvary. Don’t build too big a herd (having more horses than you have men), and be mounted yourself. You can get to 10.0 map speed in this version of the game once your Horses skill is high enough. >Do not buy product in Cities, as the price fluctuates. When you find a low price for a product in a city, locate the attached village that produces it if its a Raw material. Villages buy and sell at fixed prices that change at the end of day. BUY IN VILLAGES, SELL IN CITIES. >Last but certainly not the least. THE GAME IS BEING PATCHED AND REBALANCED DAILY. TRADE’S POWER WILL CHANGE. THIS STRATEGY REQUIRES FORETHOUGHT AND FINESSE.

However, there are some goods you should consider just picking up along the way. If you really just want to be a trader or come across the resources along the way, I usually roamed around the empire and the area directly to the north and what I found to be the easiest things to make a profit on are: -Cotton -Fur -Leather -Iron ore -Silver ore -Salt 2 more important things to remember: -Dont forget to check prices at small villages as they can sometimes buy at high prices, but they usually dont have more that 1000 money. -Prices at small villages do not fluctuate based based on how much or little they have so you dont lose value as you sell more.

Instead of looking at/making a list, you can tell whether an item is a good buy by if the price is colored green or red. When you hover over the item and it shows up on the right, the price will be green, red, or normal. You can check exact discount/markup by hovering over the colored price. So, one major tip I can give that will save you thousands, and make you thousands more, is to find a place that has a good price on a product, then wait for the villagers to head to town. Purchase the villagers' goods for cheap right outside their village. The thing is, when you do this, the villagers sell you ALL of their goods for the price you could sell the first one to the vendor for. In the end, yes they make profit off of you, but you made a large profit over what the town would have cost you to buy it there. You will also ALWAYS get camels with the goods which can carry more than the goods they brought. Even if some items are expensive, say 4 cheese for 78 denars each, you can go to that nearby town and sell that cheese for 78, 76 and 75 and 73 denars most likely, only losing 5 denars. So, I find I often do this with hogs in battania. I'll get say 23 hogs for 22 denars each, 12ish camels and a little butter and cheese all cheap. I can then sell those at another town for HUGE profits. Also, if you don't want to wait for the villagers, the village itself will also sell this stuff, it will look more expensive than the town, but the price per item WILL NOT go up until you complete the purchase, making your trade extremely profitable in bulk. Villages are your friends!

Here is a tip that used to work in Warband. I think it should in Bannerlord too. If two factions are in war with each other, they do not trade. So, there is a lot of unmet demand between adjacent hostile cities.

If you pick all of the first options creating a character you get a higher soldier cap. Get about 40 guys. Train up A few and start escorting caravans. I got an escort that paid 6.5k plus whatever I could get in loot staying near the caravan. Sometimes there's a fight when the caravan arrives so even more loot and food. I did two escorts and made 10k in minutes. While training my army and my character. Best early way to start the game.

Go and buy a woodshop, for example in epicrota, wait a few days and it will be worth anywhere between 100k and 350k. sell it, then rebuy the shop instantly for 15k again. also, if you dont sell it quick enough there is a chance you will miss a potential buyer and wont be able to sell it.

If people wonder why their prices are different then it is due to your Trading skill, also regions have effect on goods value. Stuff like Wool will have different value in desert area compared to snowy area.

you can buy misc stuff even cheaper in villages that specialize in their production

Best way to get rich early that I found is to max my army, but keep the units as recruits. Great way to level steward and medicine early game to. Checking every city and village for simple quests, preferably with the faction you want to side with or base your army units by as you get more, better or elite units. Tracking down rebellious children seems to have no negative impact unless you get yourself killed. Training troops is great if you don't have to many troops or upgraded troops, don't train the borrowed men until you got 8/8-10/10 ready fro upgrade and make sure you go for looters fast as there is a time limit. Delivering a herds also nets good relations fast but can be quite some distance to travel with a time limit. While doing all this, track down a good wanderer to run a caravan as soon as you hit about 18-20k. Min-maxing their attributes and trade perks is up to you. I would recommend a caravan before a workshop as it seems workshops SUCK if the faction holding the city is constantly at war and the city is the main target cutting your profits. Cities to far out on the edges of the map seem to have a huge hit to prosperity and pitiful profit margins, tho safe earning 40 gold per day any day is not as good as 80 gold despite a siege. Figuring out workshops has so far been tough and be far not worth your hard earned gold early game, if you pick the wrong industry and you end up with below 40 gold profits it will cost you 2k to change, and for every time it fails you spend another 2k. Have yet to see what factors are in play but lets just say that if there is grapes or grain in stock doing a brewery is not a bad idea but for the love of god.. don't ever do an oil-press this is not Rome and the AI don't seem to know what oil is good for... (catapults trowing burning oil pottery jars don't seem to cost any oil)?

No weak advice. Rather, for a beginner from a beginner player. Experience the player to advise: 1. You fight in the arena (you move one way all the time) 2. You buy mules for transport (you fight robbers along the way) 3. In the city you buy everything that glows green and sell products that are red only when the price does not fall too much. 4. Thanks to the tournament and bets on them, you earn and arm yourself and your companions. 5. I recommend investing in experience for the author. My company has 50 people I have not paid for any By attacking bandits and their hideouts, I freed people and recruited them. Prisoners only left the highest level and recruited to the department. Missions from the city are carried out by companies on the delegation. So often I only have 20 people. And probably at the same time the game as the author earned several times more

I have 13 hours in the game on realism mode and I have 150k in my personal funds, it wasn’t from trading it was from becoming a vassal and being granted a castle and a town, along with 5 villages. Every day I get 2.7k in profits from those estates, so I pretty much spend like a mad man and make it back in about 5-10 minutes of playing.

Not sure if you guys know but I didnt notice in the video: You should talk to peasants they will offer their entire stock to you and list the value they are selling it to you for, remember that in towns each item you buy increases the price of the next, in villages and with peasents it doesn't. Sometimes they will sell you dirt cheap hardwood like 60 for 10g a piece, in a mix of sumpter horses and w/e else for around 1.7k, and you make a profit solely from the hardwood in any town almost. So definitely snipe the villagers moving to the towns, and see what they sell, SUMPTER HORSES SUCK DONT BE TRICKED, they are shit price everywhere and I got jebaited in the beggining when i saw horses from them for 30 a piece, only to find they barely sell for 40 in towns lol. Also interestingly some towns buy mules for around 200+, so if you can purchase under 100 should be an easy profit with the bonus of more trade goods while in your party, and also your men won't eat them. TL:DR : Speak to villagers on the map they often sell dirt cheap shit and you can do 3-5 times the investment in their stocks

don´t know if it´s a bug that they gonna fix, but if you forge twohanders you can get crazy amounts of money. i forge swords for 40-60k a piece and have below 100 in smithing. just get the charchoal and refine perks and you´re good to go. it doesn´t matter if the weapon you´re smithing has requirements of 250 you can smith them with 0 in smithing if you have the materials. the only downside is that the weapon gets crapier stats due to your lack of skills but it still sells for a ton of money

You can also make money by trading horses and livestock, or even slaughtering animals you bought for cheap in places where meat sells high. A list for those would be nice Also, prices don't change when you buy/sell in villages. Makes it easier to make a consistent profit at times

P.s. U can click on the barrel icon top right of the player and it will simplise the trade menu for all current resources available and then click on value top left on the trade menu and their all in order from expensive to least expensive.

Also when u visit a smithy, smelt your weapons and sell the materials, weapon is usually sold for 100 or more gold, but materials can get u 1k or a bit more
@spicydeath824 жыл бұрын
best way to make money early is to not sell weapons you get as loot. instead go to the smithy an smelt them down into their components. to get charcoal, refine hardwood. then use that charcoal to smelt weapons down into components, keep the hardwood you get from that to turn into more charcoal. i made enough money doing that to make two workshops fairly early on. only downside is the lame smithing stamina system. but you just wait in the city for a bit and then do the process again. on the workshop note, it's important to only build workshops that are supplied by nearby villages, grain for beer, olives for oil, etc.

I buy cows in the north and olives in the south. Sell olives in the North and cows in the South central area, selling to villages is best as the price doesn't decrease with quantity sold like towns.

I'm currently trying out buying cheap hardwood and refining it down to charcoal then selling the Charcoal. Charcoal seems to be worth quite a bit to sell compared to hardwood. I saw one city offering 94 Denars for charcoal. Others have offered 51 and 41. Which is a lot considering how cheap you can get hardwood for. This also means I can upgrade my smithing skill alongside my trade skill.

I figured out somthing that makes it even more simple buy stuff with a green price and and just travel around and sell it to towns that make it yellow or red in your inventory, if you hover over the dot it tells you exact percentage of profit no need to make a list.

Also if there is a food shortage in a town, (usually happens after a siege), sell all your food for mass profits

Iron ore in Seonon and the village next to it is often between 14 and 17g apiece. I look for it at that price, buy it all, and travel all over the place to sell. I try to sell it for 40g minimum.

Note as you buy more, price you buy for goes up. As you sell more price, you sell for goes down. This is per city.
