Easy tutorial showing you how to use a natural soap to make a MILD FACIAL CLEANSER that can be used daily. This homemade face wash uses ARICAN BLACK SOAP, ROSE WATER & GLYCERINE to gently cleanse your face without leaving it feeling stripped or dry like other commercial cleansers.
LEARN HOW TO MAKE FREE NATURAL SKINCARE, HAIRCARE & COSMETICS along with detailed articles and tutorials on my website 👇🏾:
www.wholeelise.com/
African Black Soap is an all natural soap made from plantain leaves, cocoa pods & shea butter that gives the soap it's distinctive rich colour. It has amazing healing benefits and packed full of nutrients. However, natural soaps can be too harsh by themselves, so in this video you'll learn how to formulate your own facial cleanser that is mild enough to be used on a daily basis - without being too harsh on your skin.
This natural face cleanser will also work with other natural soaps like Castile or Moroccan Soap.

How To Make Face Cleanser using African Black Soap
(400ml Face Wash Recipe):
- 30g African Black Soap (or natural soap of choice)
- 125ml Water
- 63g Aloe Vera Gel
- 20ml Rose Water
- 12ml Glycerine
- 2 - 5% Preservative (follow preservative guidelines)
- 1% Essential Oils (optional)
It can be difficult to find a face wash that has the right balance between being cleansing but not overly stripping. And unfortunately, it can be just as difficult following DIY Face Wash recipes because it's often hard to tell just how harsh a face wash is until you use it over a long period of time. Learning how to make face wash for sensitive skin or acne prone skin can be difficult, however, hopefully this natural face cleanser tutorial will be helpful!
I also have a lot of natural hair care DIYs like HOMEMADE SHAMPOO,
NATURAL HAIR GEL & SATIN SCRUNCIES! Get yourself a girl who can do both!

Why is the African Black Soap Shampoo Ph Balanced but the face wash isn't?

Should i add Apple Cidar Vinegar to the face wash to balance the ph or is it already balanced?

@@dearinsomniadontletthebedb9237 Could be because of the percentage of black soap causes it to be higher in pH or she just forgot. Rule of thumb always pH soap 😉

@@dearinsomniadontletthebedb9237 You cannot ph balance soap. It will seperate. Soap has a PH of around 9. It has to be alkaline.

Cleanse your facial skin with cold water - it works wonders for your skin, giving it a bright glow. Splash cold water on your face right away in the morning, and when you come back from work, and before bedtime. Avoid using hot water as it can make your face look dull. Always use a gentle face wash like Littlleextra Ricebberry Face Wash, enriched with black rice water, which is 10 times more helpful than normal white rice water. It maintains your skin hydrated, removes excess oil and dirt, prevents pimples, and leaves your face glowing following just one morning wash.

Yes! Please make a thicker consistency as well... how would turmeric change the consistency?
@WholeElise
@WholeElise 4 жыл бұрын
Aw thanks Asia! Turmeric should be okay as long as its ground very fine into a powder first - otherwise it can be difficult to fully mix into the face wash so you'll end up with clumps of turmeric or a "grainy" texture. I would pre-blend it with a little water first to make sure that it can dissolve before adding it to your face wash. Hope that helps 😊

I love African Black Soap and often use it to wash my hair. I cleans and softens so nice and never drying to my hair. The soap I have, purchased from my favorite spot in Brooklyn NY "Madina Industrial Corp", comes in large bricks and has particles in it, like twigs etc. I noticed yours was clear with no particles. Are there different types of African Black soaps?
@WholeElise
@WholeElise 3 жыл бұрын
Yes African Black Soap can range in ingredients, colour and texture depending on where it originates from. Mine is from Ghana where they use coconut oil & shea butter, but others will use plantain leaves or other local vegetation. Because real black soap is produced by local people in that region its possible that some contain debris but some suppliers ensure that the bars have a higher purity than others. Mine comes from "Akoma Skincare" but you can shop around a little to find one that works best for you 😊
