As someone who was born and raised in New Orleans, I'm glad to find this video. I like pork skins and crackling a lot but now that I'm in my 40's, I've come to a place in my life where I like everything made from scratch and homemade. I've been looking for a recipe that was easy and simple and this is it. Thank you.😊

I had cracklings one time when I was visiting Lafayette.... It was amazing. This looks legit. The rest of the country doesn’t know what they are missing. Great video. I’m going to try it.

Their are two types of chicirones ,the ones with a little meat left on and the thin ones pure skin.

That would be awesome remember look how big that slab of meat was in the beginning and we only ended up with one bowl so make sure you do enough batches LOL glad you’re enjoying the recipes
