Overnight in the refrigerator. Place in microwave at 50% power for 5 minutes. Don’t forget to remove the cover! Once it’s out the microwave stir in some cold almond milk to cool it down. Add fruits and or nuts then enjoy! I add a variety of fruits and nuts in various combinations so that my oatmeal doesn’t get boring. The salt is optional.

I've eaten oatmeal for breakfast almost every day for the past couple of years, and it's probably the only breakfast meal that never gets boring! I also love it because it's cheap and I only need 1/8 cup of it to keep me full. I always stir in some peanut butter, cinnamon, and fruit (usually an apple or banana). During the summer months, my favorite is to put blueberries in it, but those don't go well with peanut butter, so I've never known how to add more protein. The egg whites are a genius idea. Eat right and reap the benefits, but it’s more than just the “what you’ve heard is healthy”, I’ve done the research and I’m confident everyday in my diet and I look back and see I’m in the best health now than I’ve ever been, and I didn’t learn a lick ;) of it in school or by anyone other than my own perseverance and drive to learn. Looks yummy! Have to say the whole summer I think I maybe had hot oatmeal one time, overnight oats were my jam (and I still love them). But lately I've been on a hot oatmeal kick again and I'm not mad about it (also great starting off my mornings with oats 'along with my cup of joe' because I've noticed it keeps me feeling satiated and not hungry for hours. I've have no problem waiting 4-6 hours till lunch to eat). Another plus is having good carbs give me energy for the day and my sport & workouts later on! Anyway ever since the first official day of fall I've been making this for breakfast just about everyday (I'm that obsessed with it, YUM) For 1 serving: 1/2 (40g) rolled oats 1/2 cup almond milk (unsweetened or original) 1/2 water (to thin it out a bit) pinch of salt Cook for about 3-5 minutes or until desired consistency Take off heat Add ins: 40-45g of pumpkin puree (canned, been making so much with it!) 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice 1 tablespoon (10g) chia seeds Mix it all together and transfer to bowl I like to top it with chopped pecans and some honey or maple syrup and a pinch of pumpkin pie spice. (If I have banana's then I like to cut 1/3 of a banana into slices and put them on top)

I’m going to try this. I’ve tried two of your recipes, the cast iron skillet chicken thighs and the banana oatmeal cookies. Both magnificent! Both made at least x3 each. I’d love to see some Dutch oven recipes especially with the cold weather right around the corner. Love your channel!

I add cinnamon sticks to boiling water, then add the oatmeal and add a can of sweetened condensed milk and that’s it

I love oatmeal and I am always experimenting with different add ins and flavors. The egg whites scare me because I just know I will end up with scrambled eggs lol.
@CleanandDeliciousDani5 жыл бұрын
Just don't let the oats get too hot and the whites won't scramble. #promise!

So many comments surely someone else already asked this, but how many eggs is that equivalent to? I prefer not to but the egg whites in a carton bc I have chickens.
