Finally, a recipe using a thermometer! THANK YOU! Nothing worse than people giving vague candy instructions.

Made it yesterday. Better than any you can find in the store. If you stick EXACTLY to the recipe it will come out perfect every time

The very recipe I've been looking for👌. I grew up making peanut brittle every year with my mother until she passed few years ago. She did it using these exact same ingredients but in a far more complicated way and took forever🤷. I'm not interested in continuing her method so I'm grateful you made this video💯💯💯. I'm making it today so fingers crossed I don't blow it 🤣

I really enjoy all of your recipes, they are all so delicious. I would like to know if you have a recipe on how to make old fashioned rock candy. The type of rock candy that I am inquiring about looks like large rough uncut diamonds also just sweet in taste. But if it is not to much trouble to ask how to add color and a flavor to them I would deeply appreciate knowing that as well. But mostly I am interested in the sweet somewhat transparent rock candy, I use to enjoy as a young boy, that as I mentioned resembled large rough uncut diamonds. Thank you so much Amy for all of your deliciously amazing recipes please keep posting your wonderful recipes. All of your recipes are such a delight. Thank you and may God bless you!!!

Great recipe, and thank you.😂 The first 2 attempts I was unsuccessful I had what was like the middle of a Payday candy bar Soft And gooey. However, in the third try, I got the temperature right and then made peanut brittle. And it was awesome Delicious and very crunchy. Thank you for sharing this recipe

Thanks for clearing up my corn syrup question. Ive asked close to a dozen different videos why the corn syrup has to be clear (my country only sells dark), and nobody answers

Amy, do you have a recipe for toffee as well? Is it okay to add chocolate chips over the top of the peanut brittle? I need to experiment!

Can i use glucose syrup instead of corn syrup ?
@HouseofNashEats3 жыл бұрын
I haven't used glucose syrup, but from my research I think it's a close enough substitute that this recipe will still turn out with it.

Saw some GF peanut brittle at the store. I'm not sure why America has such lax FDA regulations for contaminated food but still insists vaccines don't harm people?! But anyway I didn't want $13 and 3# of it. So I bought some planters (planter's doesn't sweep the floor and put it in the box. They also don't use the same belt for cheese and crackers and everything else. There's a reason why it's slightly higher.) peanuts. I already have everything else. From start to finish I might have 10 minutes in it. You can use water to help dissolve the sugar faster but then you have longer boil time.
