I like your videos but this pita is not even close to the pita we have in israel
@danielarossi54376 жыл бұрын
Because this is the real deal and not whatever monstrosity you have there.
@juliangheiler76466 жыл бұрын
Daniela Rossi pita in israel isn't a monstrosity. there are several different types: the greek-style pita, the druze pita, the levantine sajj bread, iraqi pita, and probably more styles that i've missed here

Julian Gheiler, chill, ytn999 is a troll.
@leapintothewild6 жыл бұрын
ytn999 Well, why not describe them along with your comment, maybe share your recipe(s) or other videos? It’s valid to criticize, but not really helpful if you don’t supply the alternative. I’d be interested in how they’re different as I don’t expect to travel there any time soon but love to cook/eat pita...

Sohla says "pita" throughout. Pita translates to "bread". So why did some poorly informed person at SE put "Pita bread" in the title? Did they get stuck at their ATM machine and forget their PIN number? I am not trying to be mean, it is just that when you publish something, even on the internet, it does reward everyone if you proofread.
@maryandchild5 жыл бұрын
In America it is most often called 'Pita bread.' Like how masala chai is called 'Chai tea' here. It's not a problem; just a common quirk of the English language.
@fordhouse8b4 жыл бұрын
For the same reason that when someone posts a video about making corn bread they don’t title they video ‘Making Corn Pita.’ In the English language pita means a particular kind of bread. It is just how pizza pie simply,means to pizza, not something that’s pie in addition to also being pizza. I am not trying to be mean, but it does award everyone if you realize that a word originating in one language does not get used in the exact same manner in a another language. Also, just as an interesting aside, many linguists believe that pizza (the word, not the contemporary concept of it) originally was adopted from Greek in antiquity when southern Italy was part of Magna Graecia, and so may have the same etymological origin as the word pita. If only those ignorant Italians could have proofread, they would not be mispronouncing and misspelling the word, or wrongly insisting that it must be baked with toppings!

Where are all the Sous Vide videos?? Oh wait, they are on my Channel! 😜👍I have made pita before and even ground the flour from scratch!
