HOW TO MAKE POSHO / UGALI / MAIZE MEAL |The cooking nurse

Posho is by far the most consumed meal in east Africa and it can be tricky to make if you don't know the basics, in this video I share how to make the perfect maize meal in banana leaves I hope it helps you.
key point; please don't make hard posho because when its off the heat it hardens the more, therefore leave room for that so you still have a soft meal.

Thank you so much for making and sharing this! We lived in Uganda for 2 and half years and often had posho & beans for lunch 5 days a week! Now that we're back in the northeast of the US, we don't have banana leaves, but this is still helpful to make posho! Yes here its the moat common way in my village, we steam it in banana leaves to get more aroma.
