Stinking great labels! I tried making labels stick too my fabric bins, those clear ones, had to add adhesive but at least I could slide out the labels! Blessed and safe days!

Sue Wolfe- I shop at DT a lot and will have to find the labels with the slot. I like the idea where you labeled your cabinet in the garage with garden tools etc. It's nice that you can slide the labels out so you can fix the words like pliers!!

Thank you for your labels and other lists you've made available! I appreciate your calm approach, because - as I'm sure you've experienced - for many of us, there's a lot of emotions tied up in how we keep house. What most people take for granted (in terms of being tidy) is a real challenge sometimes. By the way, I also check out the clearance sections at Hobby Lobby, Michael's, Office Depot & Staples - like you mentioned with the place cards - some items can be re-purposed. Even some pretty scrapbook paper could be used for labels!

HFD. I hot glued Velcro, then foammount from black to white. I can just take the label off the Velcro to change it.

I just love your suggestions..but I am still having trouble getting rid of my antiques..things that belonged ot my mother and her grandmother...but none of my daughter-in-laws want them.

That would be a tough one for me, as well. If you have room for them - keep them! If space is an issue, can you loan them to a local museum or club (like the Lyons or Daughters of the American Revolution) in your families name?

So the clips you used to connect to the box lids are.......? Look like command clothes pins?

Just clothes pins from the dollar spot at Michaels.... then I spray painted them black. and attached the labels I made in this video directly to them. :)

When you printed on photo paper did you have any problems with ink smearing? I assume you used ink jet and not laser printer.

Yes... I have an ink jet printer, and used ink jet photo paper.
