Awesome to see you bring love to psy trance and naming dash glitch. Projektor, psiger and E-Clip are also great resources for psy trance on youtube. The effort these guys put into the production of their sound is humbling.

Make the volume on the first note of the bassline 50% to make better groove, i use TransX Multi Stereo last two bands mids and highs on +6db lows and low mids 0db turned off , i use Fabfilter ProMB with 4 bands on extension mode on the bass chanel i extend the high mids and i use ducking effect on the low end arround (-20db inside ProMB) and sidechain the kick in Processing by ProMB , and of course EQing the bass low cut up to the first harmonic of the rooth note on -6db , scoop the low mids arround 300hz -3db , boost 2,5 db with highshelf on the high mids arround 3250hz and tell me what you think 😉🥂

Mate, you’re a talented music producer. You don’t stick with 1 genre. You can make like a lot of genre and that makes you a talented producer. Good job 😉

My biggest gripe in making electronic music is the use of vocal samples. I think its lazy, people should create the melodies and record the vocals too instead of using some sample that has been used thousands of times. No, I have not created a single trance track ever :D
@Natharsus9 ай бұрын
There are an infinite number of ways to make good music, and one of those ways is using vocal samples. Yes, if someone uses a website like splice for example, they’re bound to use the same vocal samples as other producers, which, to your point, waters down the creativity and individuality of the track, but everyone produces differently, and no two tracks that use the same vocal sample are going to be the same. There’s also an infinite number of vocal samples out there that nobody has used..EVER, and if you’re truly creative, you can manipulate a vocal sample in a way that gives it an entirely new but cohesive feel, creating an entirely new experience for the the listener, yet still slightly familiar. In conclusion, using vocal samples isn’t lazy, but there are lazy ways to use them. Good music is good music, regardless of what anyone says, and if that music includes a vocal samples from splice, who cares if it makes you feel something?!

and when you have no money (or equipment) to pay people to sing and you need music for your solo game project etc..? its not like he took 20 sample loops and turned it into a track
