Thanks for the vid! For anyone wondering, to make the bodies themselves look bloody, set their grime texture to something red (Stocking Red and Emissive Banished work well) and play with the grime value to get the look you want. For non-humans, just find a grime texture that has a similar enough color to the pool of blood.

Respects to you for doing this, it's always useful when we get videos showing how to pull off alternative effects 👍👍

I gotta see these puddles in a moody, dark atmosphere. I would love to make a Mombasa Streets remake. Thank you for the tutorial!

Wow, nice work. I'll likely be incorporating these into some of my maps

I used this method on my map and it worked great, but now the energy barriers are emitting light and ruining my lighting.......

Wish we could have these as prefabs.

I wonder how the river looks if you add the reactive water too the energy fields
@TDJmedia2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for sharing these great and creative solutions! I'm struggeling making a pretty long river. Is it wise to make the riverbed first and then the energy effects on top? Or would you rather make prefab and copy it over and over? Also I'm wondering how you made the energy fields so seamless on top of the terrains. Great job!

The riverbed first yes but accommodate the width of the riverbed to the size of the energy effect, to hide the seams you can place rocks with the foam effect techniques. And I went into the most precise mode and went down but you can also adjust using the object coordinates to get as close to the top as possible.

Amazing! How do you lower a selected object? Like you did at 14:31. I’m on Xbox, only changing Z coordinate works for me

Movement 0.001' and pressed on my left stick to get it slower. Still tricky

Can you please publish those as prefabs?

The only thing I’m worried about is if enforcement would be against it and delete it. I could try and see if I can clarify.

Wow pretty sweet work here Thanks for the video because to try to figure this out without some help is Insanely hard You should try to prefab this and post it online for us non creative people 😅 to just download the whole setup

Forge isn't a modding tool ik gane anymore it's the developers tools entirely lol and people already figured out how to make it better without a paycheck or a team

Nope. Something's not right. I've already gone in and checked. It's not possible to change terrain colors like this.

Use terrain that doesn’t say TI

343 is such a disappointment. When people create something they love it becomes great. When others outside put in just as much love. They make it great
