Hey I need this question answered asap since im making this cake for xmas day. I bought cake flour, Swans brand, is that ok to use or should I just used unbleached all purpose flour? Also if I have buttermilk, should I still add vinegar to it?
@TheChefAine Жыл бұрын
apologies. just saw your question. unbleached all purpose flour is best since youd have to add baking powder and soda. if using buttermilk, you dont need to add more vinegar because buttermilk substitute is milk + vinegar
@queshawndrejackson4176 Жыл бұрын
@@TheChefAine o wow, thanks for the information cause in other recipes they add vinegar to the buttermilk and they still add baking soda and powder to the cake flour. I still made the cake and my family loved it but I’m going to try it the way you make it.
