I had made a rose by folding copper pipe, and while doing so, Black residue kept staining my hands. After doing research I found out that copper reacts to oils in human skin and leaves behind this residue. to counteract this, I sprayed the rose with clear coat spray-paint. did you use superglue to achieve the same effect of a protective shield so black residue doesn't come off on your fingers? cool video thankyou for sharing.

It is a piece if soft wood carved into a cone shape with a metal pin stuck in the wide end... you can also just order a ring mandrel from the internet.
