Ok...WOW...for real! I never thought of doing tenons on dowels like this. SO much easier than I've done it before. TIS is how I do it from now on...BRILLIANT!!!! And another great video as well. I put out a new one this last week and I can tell I was in a hurry. I HAVE to stop talking on my videos.

Nice shelving unit. One thing, when using wedges, it's important that they run perpendicular to the grain of the wood. This will help prevent splitting. As it is, when the top tennon swells with humidity, you may see a split occur.

Wedges wrong. They are along grain so could induce splitting. Should be accross grain. Rookey mistake.
