Beware, red tone will change the your hair color, so do not let it deep for too long if you don’t want the red tone! It messed up my rich dark natural hair tone. I cut my hair short and layered it. Anyhow, the oil is good and putting some into your shampoo. Brushing the scalp stimulates hair growth big time too. Buy a good hair brush ❤

@@Merlina2004don’t know if it will change hair color, but you can buy rosemary essential oil and add a few drops to boiling water that you cut off then put in a spray bottle. Make sure to a just a little bit of rubbing alcohol if you put in a plastic bottle so it won’t stick to the sides.

Rosemary oil will be more potent so it's used as a scalp treatment 2x-3x a week. leave it in for a least an hour and no longer than 4 hours so you don't cause your scalp to clog or damage your hair from being weighed down with oil. I haven't seen any rosemary oils that use coconut oil as the base, many use jojoba oil or castor oil, some oil that's more neutral than coconut. Coconut could potentially clog your scalp, which would be the opposite of what you'd want with the rosemary oil, but everyone is different so it may be fine for you. The rosemary water doesn't need to be washed out and it's less potent so you're able to use this every day if you'd like. The water lasts about a week in the fridge, I wouldn't go over that. You can also add mint to the water too if you'd like, mint is good for hair growth as well. Consistency is key though, so if you use one or the other or both, just make sure you're using it regularly. You can also use rosemary essential oils(do not apply directly to the scalp, it's way too potent and can irritate your scalp. That's why rosemary oils you buy with a dropper that's used for a scalp oiling contain a carrier oil such as jojoba or castor oil). When you're shampooing your hair you can add 2-3 drops in your hands and mix it in with your shampoo.

Just going to make a suggestion you shouldn't boil the Rosemary it's not good to do that you don't get the nutrients that you need when it's over boiled like that and it needs to cook slow and continuously stirring it and the best way to do it is put the Rosemary and water above a another pan like you would melt chocolate. And you can also use coconut oil instead of water it's actually is your hair a whole lot of nutrients and really nourishes the scalp

If it’s not allergic to it, it usually won’t do anything to you hair. I’m black so I keep my hair in cornrows, What I do is I spray my hair with it 3 times a week and oil my scalp. Since like I said I have black natural hair I don’t wash my hair until 2-3 weeks later. But you can also just do it as a rinse after washing ur hair.
