It’s amazing all of the different things a person could add to salmon croquettes, and they all taste a little different in a great way. When I was a little girl, I’d stand next to my mom and eat them as she took them out of the pan. Piping hot was always best. I would eat until I hurt. 😂 She’d make them tiny to fit in my little hands. I didn’t eat any of the fried potatoes with onions because the patties were so good. I always wear gloves when cooking. It seems more sanitary, no matter how long one were to wash her hands. Yum!! Yum!! I have a can of salmon I need to use. I’ll try this version tomorrow. I keep onion and red bell pepper in my fridge, chopped and ready to use. I keep a jar of minced garlic, fresh lemon, sweet relish, and dill relish in the fridge, too. Thank you for your version. It sounds awesome. Love the gloves!!!

This is much healthier anyway! I make salmon croquettes about the same way, but I put dill weed and green onion tops in mine with a squeeze of lemon. My veggies are diced very thin, bell peppers, celery, onion, and about the same seasonings, some flour, eggs, a little milk to help hold together. I form mine like small rectangle loaves. Roll in bread crumbs. Yummy ! Serve with tartar sauce, rice, or grits, slaw or salad for supper.

Oh wow! I never thought to have salmon patties for breakfast but I have backyard chickens now and so many eggs that they are coming out of my ears. I bet this would be AMAZING with my "butt nuggets!". I used to hate salmon patties when I was a kid but when I was pregnant with my 2nd kid, I ate them with corn and broccoli probably twice a week with my best friend who was pregnant with her first. This is not only a delicious dish as an adult, but super nostalgic for me when I was carrying my 2nd born. Also, you are toooo adorable! I am loving binge watching you after seeing the first video of yours that I saw. Fried cabbage. I'm from southern US so I was pretty dang impressed with your version of it. I need to get off this PC to go sleep but dang it... I'm addicted! LOL! Thank you so much for your videos. You are such a pretty lady and beautiful person. Can't wait to watch more.
