I also like my squash with a hint of sweetness..not too much, just enough to enhance the flavor..I'm eating it now, delicious

I’m thinking it would be overcooked. It’s best to slice it and layer the squash uncooked for a lasagna.

@@MsBrendaDee please let me know if you do.. this type of cooking gets overlooked by quick and easy meals. I love how you placed the vegetables under the chicken and then used them to flavor the stuffing. I’m using that stuffing recipe for certain. I miss that style of all day cooking , so glad I found you.. I showed my daughter in law the carrot cake and I promised I’d make it for her.I’m cooking tomorrow for her 32 birthday (I love to cook) I just wish I’d found your you tube page sooner. @@MsBrendaDee I just sautéed with onions for about 10 minutes it should be perfect making the lasagna today … thank you Brenda , if you do put together the Recipe Book please include the stories you tell on You Tube where these recipes come from. I think it’s so important for the younger generation that do not realize how important the traditions are in this kitchen history. I wish I would have ask my mother where she learned some of her recipes and wrote the recipes down . I’m dying to make the carrot cake and I have all the ingredients already .
