I just have to say to all the young women out here that may be watching this please take note this is exactly the way to a man's heart don't let anybody tell you any different try it

You may be right I'm 75 years old but I learned a long time ago that it was not my place to please a man and she'll his tummy so I guess why I don't do good at relationships with the opposite sex and I am not gay I just like being by myself and I love cooking for my family cuz they're it don't expect anything out of it I when I cook I cook out of love is not because I have to what what's for dinner tonight what are we going to have to I don't like it I want to do this all I got f****** tired of it I like the single life and as Alicia Bridges puts it I Love The Nightlife and I love to Boogie LOL
@helenboula35384 жыл бұрын
And let me add I'm from the deep south and I do know how to cook that is what I want to cook and when I want to I learned a long time ago if I don't please myself and I could I ever possibly please anyone else cuz it would not be from the heart so many women out there go through the motions everyday in their heart is not in it and that is the truth

Thanks so much for the video! I just made 1 fried squash and green tomatoes with the same recipe here. It came out great! I did use some salt on the slices of green tomatoes to release some of the moisture. I do that and let them sit about 15 minutes. I know people do it different ways. I really love your videos a lot!

Keepin' it real in Georgia. Love watching you and Chris cook live. It's like sitting in a girlfriend's kitchen, visiting with her while she gets supper ready for her family. Everything looked delicious and seeing you multitask is helpful for those learning how to function in a kitchen. Multitasking is how dinner gets done. By the way, I was concerned about your cake, but I'm glad it wasn't a total loss. You can always just cut smaller pieces. ~ Lisa

Tammy, I saw you made butter beans. My husband and I love butter beans. When I prepare mine and after they are completely cooked, I put a can of evaporated milk in mine plus about 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup instant potatoes in them. Stir them. I learn this from my sister-in-law when my husband and I got married 42 yrs. ago. Guests say, Maryann,I don't like butter beans but these are wonderful! Girl, they are just that...wonderful! That's a great great idea about putting real corn meal in the bottom of the iron skillet to make the cornbread extra crunchy!

Tammy, love your cooking. My Mama used to fix those Lima beans with a small potato in pot, then she would throw potato away cause it would have all the gas in it. My brother , a single Dad, makes a wonderful strawberry cake. As soon as he got the cake out , he would then put it in the fridge. It keeps the cake super moist. He learned that from our great grandma , Elizabeth Jones from Pitts, Ga. I miss my family so hearing you reminds me of my sister, Teresa , who is a wonderful cook. I cook a little but love cooking shows and yours is my favorite!

Why slice the squash in disks? Couldn’t you cut long ways...or more diagonal...thus making them larger and still thin. Thus they would still be crisp and could be add to sandwiches better.
