How to make Seamoss gel/ Irish Moss Drink

Recipe info:
- The rinsing is essential for getting rid of the excess salt and sand from THIS BRAND. Do not skip that step. You may get Wildcrafted seamoss you like from other suppliers.
- To make any amount of raw seamoss gel, I just add soaked moss to the blender then add room temperature water(same one it was soaked in) a little at a time. I adjust liquid as needed. You can make the gel as thick or as light you want. It just depends on how much liquid you add.
However if you want to measure, you may do a 1:1 ratio so for 1 cup of seamoss you would use between 3/4 - 1 cup water to soak/blend
-For the coconut milk, use the best quality you can find. Avoid the ones that have sugar and other unnecessary additives
- Some seamoss experts recommend that you soak seamoss for only 15 - 20 minutes and then proceed to making the gel. Do what works for you. I find that soaking it overnight makes it easier to puree smoothly and as long as the same water is consumed then the nutrients are not lost.
- I love plenty flax sseed and peanuts in my Irish moss. I did use about 5 spoons soaked flax seed. You may use less of you're not a fan of the nuttier taste or texture.
