I love the idea - and I'll say if the entire jar is being consumed by a whole family within a week or so, then this should work perfectly. Otherwise, 1 jar will not be good for 2-3 weeks, the sea moss, yes, but not once mixed with the fruit itself... the fruit will start going bad within 4-5 days once mixed with the sea moss, sure, airtight containers may help it last longer - maybe 8 - 10 days, but even when refrigerated unless you add preservatives, no chance it goes 2-3 weeks. You are better off making the sea moss gel on its own and then adding it to fresh sliced fruits or smoothies.

Great video. Cant wait to try making my own. I do have a couple of questions: 1) video mentions it keeps for 3-4 weeks however the description says 2-3 weeks. Just wanting to double check which is correct. If 2-3 weeks Id probably make smaller batch to start 2) soaking step is 12-24 hrs. Ive seen other vids where it suggest just 2 hrs or so to soak where 24 my be too long. Does that depend on the type of moss where some may break down more quickly?

I am the queen of making sea moss? Truth is sea moss can be mixed with fruit but the down fall with that is it won’t last 3/4 weeks as fruit looses its nutrition after a few days? I kinda mix it with cinnamon turmeric vanilla lime cucumber and so on citrus fruits are fine to infuse as limes are alkaline plus it never looses its nutrients? In my humbled opinion? The benefits are amazing. It releases mucus from the body 🙏🏼🤍👏🏼 looks amazing 🤩 How long does it last in fridge before it goes off?

Update: I made the sea moss, and it is phenomenal. I have lupus, but since taking it I feel a difference. A slower effect, but I feel good.

Vitamix Ascent Series works best for blending sea moss. Be sure to cut the strands prior to blending.

i wondered if i was the only one. i've been putting moringa powder, spurulina powder, and beet root powder in my sea moss gel and it is a power house food. i want to try tumeric and/or ginger powder but i don't want to waste my sea moss. i'm roo afraid to use fruit, seem like itll go bad. thanx for the tip 😄

I wonder if you had to make a vegan fish like ackee and cod fish, I wonder if I soak the heart of palms in sea moss before I prep it for and clean it with the lemon. Maybe the heart of palm would have the fish taste especially if soaked overnight.
