OK, may I help you & the fans. First, when ever you rinse/wash Irish Sea Moss of the sand, we never alllow the washed off SAND go down the sink drain. That is sand. Sand does not dissolve like dirt in Water. Warning there may be sand build up in your drain pipes. Just a caution. NEXT, Ok, I noticed that you used DISTILLED water to soak The Irish Sea Moss overnight. DISTILLED water has had most minerals /pulled out during the Distillation process. So, the finished Distilled water that is used will pull out the Removed Minerals, Vitamins Lost in the Distillation process. The Distilled water Absorbs the Nutrients from the Sea Moss. Then you toss out the absorbed Minerals/Vitamins in the Distilled WASH water. Seriously, think about the washing process. Try using SPRING WATER instead for the washing of Irish Sea Moss. Have Funnnn. Eddd

I’m 68 years old I suffer with thyroid I’ve been using CMOS for years and to see how everybody is on it now using it I sit back and I laughed because I remember when I started taking it people were saying that I was crazy you eat that you take that that’s nasty. This Seamoss isn’t wild crafted. Real Seamoss isn’t that thick when dry and shouldn’t contain that amount of salt. Such might come from the pool or grown by man: real Seamoss has very tiny strands when dry and doesn’t contain salt. Do your research so you get a good one.

Went thru trial and error, (Yes, not cheap) but Chinto Mich is correct, that is not wild crafted and should NEVER have that amount salt, they were charging for salt not sea moss. Not getting paid, nor do I have anything to do with the company but RED’s Kitchen Sink , is hands down cleanest, purest, “wild crafted “ I came across, now I ONLY order from them. Yes because last year I brought sea moss from a certain site and it very easy to clean but after I made it , it jelled up great but then it had hard particles in it like plastic parts Sooooo scary so I tossed it and by the way I’m like you also sometimes I add it to smoothies but other times I spoon feed my self with it as well 😍

Came across your video on searching irish sea moss, the one you used came from Jamaica i believe you said, previous videos said that it should not have salt on it, and it should be with thinly strands, your looks thick and when dried looked like salt granules on it, from my research understanding, i would not have steered clear of that brand... In the same way that there are different types of plants, all of which have leaves with different colours, shapes, sizes and textures, there are different types of sea moss, grown off the coast of different islands of the Caribbean and harvested in different ways .... That doesn't make the sea moss that she used fake ....

Try washing your Seamoss in a salad spinner. 🤯 Helpful tip: microwave your lemon/lime for few seconds before you cut into it. It makes it juicy more. 😉

She disposed of a few very healthy components and that was the last of the water that could have been saved if the sea moss was clean properly before setting to soak and then the pieces of lime where a lot of the vital nutritious elements live inside of the peel. The last of the water used to soak had a lot of vital elements inside of that water from the sea moss itself as well as the lime. The water could have been used to drink or make something else

Have you ever dealt with separation in the jar mine has been sitting for 11 hours or so and when I checked on it. It still hasn’t thickened up and it’s water separation on the bottom. So is this common and how long does it need to sit before it completely thickens ?

Was your container clean and what type of water did you use? I've seen a lot of people say not to clean with tap water. Also once you blend it should thicken up. You shouldn't be waiting for it to thicken.

It will develop mold inside of it….. they recommend no more than 3-4 weeks but depending on how you consume it, it won’t last that long. A 16oz jar usually last me about 2 1/2 weeks I do two tablespoons in my smoothie daily

Hi definitely recommend letting it soak overnight with limes. And change out your water several times. You won’t be able to get it 100% sea free in the scent but it makes a huge difference

Questions to those in the know: Why dump the mineral-rich soaking water? It's already washed and rinsed - the soaking water should be ok ... more than ok. Right? And rinsing the sea moss with tap water after the soak seems to defeat some of the purpose of using non-tap water for soaking & blending. It's just a rinse compared to all the soaking, yes, but I just don't understand. Are we trying to rinse the lime juice off? Are we trying to dump any heavy metals possibly present? 🤷🏽‍♀️ Please let me know if I really should be dumping the soaking water or using it to blend. Also, where's the most trustful place to purchase real sea moss. I bought some at an Asian market in the Jamaican/African section (brand: "Angel Brand" irishmoss), but not sure it's the good stuff. The manager at the Asian market told me to try the really fine seaweed they had in the seaweed aisle ... almost looks like black hair. He said it was also sea moss, but label said seaweed (they have so many different kinds of seaweed, and I've only ever really consumed a few types). Is this honestly going to be better for me, or help me in any different way than the benefits I already get from consuming seaweed? Thanks to any of you who will respond 🙏
