Greetings Wyloch,After watching this tutorial I just had to say...absolutely outstanding!!! Your attention to detail and obviously spectacular imagination deserves much respect, those sewer layouts are the best I've ever seen...Dwarven Forge has nothing on you. The non linear flow of your sewers has a very aesthetic rhythm, a truly phenomenal creation.

Interesting concept of sewer tiles. The olive green was a unique choice for murky water, however, the neon streaks reminds me of something toxic or radioactive.

If cut out a foam board insert to fit into your clip on features you can utilize all your clip on features (traps, doors, etc) on your sewer walls, although you might loose the playability of the two game spaces on which ever side of the wall that the clip on would hang.

Those really are cramped Whyloch! I think I'd have aimed for them to be a little larger so that I could use normal sized walls. Otherwise I really like them. I love water effects, but these tiles are probably too small to really make using them practical for the size and number of them you've got, and your system is really designed to be budget friendly. One thing this hobby is teaching me is that my wonderful dual-temp mini glue gun is great for being small and supporting both low and high melt glue sticks … but if I don't NEED precision, I really want a bigger glue gun that takes big, cheap sticks that I don't use up in a few seconds, both for cost and for not having to shove a new stick in every few seconds.
@WylochsArmory3 жыл бұрын
Well, if they were larger they wouldnt be compatible with all my other designs, the overall must be locked at 2.5" x 2.5"

you should make some small bases with a quarter in wall attached to them so you can still use your clip on features in a setup like this.

Aden, for Wyloch’s 2½" squared tile size, just aproximate to 60mm squared in metric for convenience of manufacturing. 1¼ tile would thus be 30mm², and a 3¾" squared tile would be 90mm².

Hey just a quick question - can you do clip-ons like doors with this? or is it too thin (as it lacks the foam or width of corrugation of the other styles, dungeon and castle respectively)? Thanks - super awesome, like all of your stuff.
@WylochsArmory7 жыл бұрын
The clip-on would simply have chipboard in the center, instead of a hunk of double corrugated. In other words, that middle "filler" piece just needs to be the same thickness as the wall.
@almaric17 жыл бұрын
oh! thank you very much

@WylochsArmory5 жыл бұрын
Yeah I talked about that in the first few episodes but basically, just ignore that. I was accounting for blade width and human error but over time I have realized it isn't worth stressing over. But Light just means, cut it about 1/2 of a millimeter less than you intend.
