Hi! I've been testing and crafting randon things for 3 years by now and your videos gave me a lot of ideas to speed up my cartfs. I was always looking for a good modular method and now I have a lot to thank you. Also, by now I'm testing to do the wals as a clip on feature. This way I lost less time building diferent kinds of tiles and gain a little more mobility (my tiles travels a lot). Again, Thank you.

I'm currently using dj Scott us cork method due to conserving space in my very tiny room.. These look great, all your work. Can't wait to make these when I'm able to move.

Very nice! These look like they are much quicker than the first sets you did.

Interesting approach to castle tiles. You could even make a variable of this tile with wooden floors as well.

Thanks for the great ideas, I'm making my own modular dungeon tiles for the castle ravenloft game, and your tiles have given me some good inspiration... question though, if you start out with one design of tile should you stick to it through out the entire dungeon, or can you mix it up depending on the room your in??

Its about 1/32 to 1/16 under, or just below the 2.5 marking.

i have a question, i saw in other videos that the size of the module is a little more widht, like 1 1/4 or 1 1/2 because the mini can move more comfortable into the module, ¿what do you tink about this?
@WylochsArmory2 жыл бұрын
Sorry, what are you asking? Which module?
@sircacu2 жыл бұрын
@@WylochsArmory sorry, english isn't my main language. for me, module = the 1/4 section of the the tile where the mini stand up
@jasonr28489 жыл бұрын
Wyloch, love this tile system of yours; this may draw me out of my 2.5D "NEXT" type system I decided to go with initially. You solved the problem that working with Hirst Arts dimensions could cause, but with the same awesome look as those pieces. Question: from your experience with using these tiles with dungeon dressings, do you ever wish for higher walls like in most Hirst Arts builds?
@WylochsArmory9 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your viewership. No, I like shorter walls. I think Scotty nailed it when he came up with the whole 2.5 short wall concept.
@jasonr28489 жыл бұрын
Playability can't be beat. Only thing I may miss is surface area for hanging wall decorations or elements on, but I can just craft a custom clip-on wall section like you've done for doors or Scotty's done with the magic mouth craft and so on. Excellent vids! Glad you just carried on into "season 2" without a break :)

Its me again, sry just discovered you and running through so many videos :) Hope you keep up so i can continue watching them ^^ Would you suggest this method or the one you showed in the first view videos? Since your doing the wall diffrently, not sure where to start out for mass production :P
@WylochsArmory8 жыл бұрын
Whichever you like the look of. The original ones have the foam wall, which gives more opportunity for texturing.

How did the slate grey tiles turn out when they dried?
@WylochsArmory8 жыл бұрын
+iHunterKiller Okay....I have stopped using that paint. It was premium semi-gloss interior house paint, WAY too thick for crafting and with a long dry time. Now I use cheap acrylic craft paint and it's much easier to work with.

Could you give me a link to buy some good foam online? Because I can't find any good foam in nearby shops or pages..
any tips for cutting the walls i keep ending up with destroyed strips of cardboard :(

Should take 3 to 4 passes of the knife. Light scoring, then some pressure, then final pass.

In my opinion THESE tiles look best for a Dungeon - but it's a hell of work to get it all done until you can start playing RPG. Took me several month. If I would do it again, think I would use styrofoam only (like shown on Black Magic Craft) - cutting the damn cardboard is a neverending story!
@WylochsArmory7 жыл бұрын
You're right, it ain't easy. Kind of has to be a zen thing.
@ihalloway6 жыл бұрын
why all the hastle ? u could use thicker foam
@WylochsArmory6 жыл бұрын
You mean for the foundation? Two reasons: Foam is much more fragile, and, the exposed corrugation gives excellent surface area for the hot glue when attaching the walls, making them incredibly strong. That said I do wish I'd used a chipboard slab with foamcore attached to it for the foundation. It's too tall as is. I regret this one a bit.
