Ctrl+L lets you reload the map without leaving the editor. Every time I use the hotkey to run the mapping tool it also automatically reloads the editor with Ctrl+L

i can't merge the sliders at all, even when the slider anchor is already directly on top of the next sliderhead.

Does the program tell it merged 2 sliders? Make sure you got the right map selected for Slider Merger (path in the bottom blue bar) and after running Slider Merger reload your map without saving.

I do it in the video by making two streams of circles and then doubling the snap divisor so i can drag the second stream on the timeline onto the first stream such that they interlace. If done right, the circles will be alternating between the two stream shapes. Then if you use slider merger on all the circles it becomes a wiggle slider.

Depends on the type of error. Since you say 'every time' i guess it could be an access denied error. For that you could try turning off the ransomware protection in windows security. Otherwise tell me what exactly is the error.
