Another tip, remember them and what they talked about. They're more likely to remember you if they know you actually listen to them, remember what they talk about, and engage with them as much as you can. It's amazing how I subconsciously knew almost all of these tips and have been doing it for years, but every attempt to make just a lasting positive connection is crushed by my BPD and depression.
