How to make Spicy Red Mango

Half riped mangoes (1 - 1 1/2 lbs)
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp salt
2 sticks cinnamon
1/2 star anise
Beet root juice/red coloring
3 cloves
hot pepper
ginger (optional)
water for boiling

Your mango was probably acidic so u should have add more sugar

Most of the commercially produced "red" snacks..... plums, cherries mango etc are now of poor quality and taste like crap, better to make your own at home
